Here we go! Finally saved enough money to get my teeth straightened. I managed to land a decent paying job with great benefits a couple of years ago. However, I'm a little bummed out to find out that the ortho portion of my dental plan only covers individuals who are 18 (maybe it was 21) or younger. Regardless, I had been putting money aside every pay cheque for this and well, yep! I decided to finally have it done.
I have been visiting several orthodontic clinics over the past weeks

After years of wanting/needing braces, I've finally sat down looked at my expenses and I am now starting treatment on July 29th!!
I am sooo excited! I'm 19 and have quite bad crowded teeth due to a narrow jaw. I'm only getting my top teeth done has they are my main issue when I smile and all I can manage to afford right now. I had my consultation with my orthodontist today and I have decided to go with the clear ones, I'm a bit worried about the staining that they may possibly cause so if
I am five days away from getting my Invisalign trays and starting what is sure to be a crazy, but rewarding, journey. It's weird, being 26 years old (ugh, but 27 in 2 days...) and telling people I am off to the orthodontist and I'm getting braces. So, I'm thinking back to the road I've been on.
I remember when I was in 6th grade and my friends started getting braces. Somehow it was cool... and it was even cooler to see them get taken off in 8th grade, and these friends of mine
3 MORE TO GO! WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! Sorry.
Tray 11 when in yesterday at the annual visit to the orthodontist. He tells me things are tracking and progressing very well. I raised a few concerns i was having, one being the little black triangles that are forming on my bottom teeth. He informs not to worry "Inserts speech about teeth movement jaw, gums something something" and he informs me the last THREE trays are "Over-correcting trays" and it should fix

[SIZE=3][SIZE=4][FONT=Fixedsys][FONT=Lucida Console][FONT=Trebuchet MS][SIZE=2][SIZE=2]Ok, so I'm 25 and finally getting braces! While researching braces I stumbled across "fastbraces".. After looking into it, it sounded amazing!! Half the time.. 3 months- a year of braces! After going to my consultation, I found out my overbite would require jaw surgery... But I went ahead and decided to get the braces, because I mostly cared about my teeth being straight and would be perfectly happy
Do you have the beautiful smile you desire? Maybe you don't because you didn't want to get braces and have a mouthful of metal. Maybe you are just too busy to make an appointment.
Whatever your reason, AlignerMeter App will determine if you are a candidate for Invisible Braces in a quick and easy process. Download the AlignerMeter app from iTunes App store or Android market , take three snapshots of your teeth and submit them through the app to get your free
So i went for a visit to my favourite place at the moment. The ortho (Sad thing its true haha)
He gave me trays 3,4 and 5. He also gave me a look at my Clincheck and all movement from here on its just closing my gap. We've widen the arch apparently (Seems the same to me!) and we've created space (No IPR is EVER needed for me according to the computer) This is why i think i said in my very first blog post it looked like it was making space, not closing it. Thats exactly what happened.

I just wanted to make a little blog blog entry about a few things so far as its nearly been 3 weeks on tray 1! I don't mind if anyone doesn't read, but it's for my benefit to look back on :p
As per my last blog i hadn't had attachments put on as my ortho wanted me to get used to the trays first. All was well, i adjusted happy days were had. So the day came for my attachments to be put on. He was quite pleased and said he's seen some movement (Yay!) So he went about putting on these
There is something stuck between my canine and incisor. Its actually in the gum. Since its in the upper jaw I am unable to trace it in the mirror. I tried flossing and brushing but it doesnt seem to help.
I can feel it with my tongue but cant get it out. Its something really small like having an pop corn stuck in the gum. Its irritating.
Should I see the dentist?
When I first made the decision to proceed with orthodontics, I thought that I'd have time to document it all from start to finish. Of course, I ended up being far too busy for my own liking, but I guess it's better late than never to blog about my Invisalign venture.
I've always been self conscious about my smile, and for a long period of time between high school and college, I rarely showed my teeth in photos when I smiled. People always told me that my teeth were fine, that nothing

I'VE BEEN TO CONSULTANTS WHO ARE SPECIALISTS IN THIS, ONE TOLD ME I NEEDED FOUR EXTRACTIONS, AND ANOTHER TOLD ME I DON'T NEED EXTRACTIONS. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR OPINION, BECAUSE I'LL NEVER HAVE MY TEETH BACK AFTER AN EXTRACTION IF I FOLLOW THROUGH. MY CURRENT ORTHODONTIST (WHICH I WILL GET BRACES VERY SOON) IS TELLING ME THAT WITHOUT EXTRACTIONS THE BRACES WILL ALIGN MY TEETH BUT THEY WILL STICK OUT AND WONT LOOK GOOD. THE OTHER ORTHODONTIST TOLD ME THAT BRACES IS ENOUGH TO PUSH PACK MY TEETH INTO
So my first follow up is the 13th June since I had my braces put on, I went for the clear ceramic braces. My ortho never really explained what would happen on my second visit? Feeling a bit scared as some of my teeth are still so sensitive, I am even scared to still chew, no pain only the feeling that my teeth are not still feeling normal. Can someone explain what the 2nd visit would be all about? My fitting was done on May 3rd?
Yeah, it's dampened my mood a bit...
I've been on holiday with my family, and they commented on how my face seemed disproportionately swollen. I had felt a little pain, but I assumed this was still normal in the first year after surgery. However, I had a dentist appointment today and thought I'd better say something.
So I told him I've been experiencing a few pains and he asked me whether it hurt as he was examining it. It didn't really so I said no. He had a poke around
im new here and a few more days the doctor will going to extract my three teeth. Thought with Damon braces, i dont have to pull put any of my teeth. As i counted, when the teeth will be pull out, my upper teeth will only have 13 and lower teeth will have 14. Is it normal? Any advise? Might call my doctor again because actually they going to give me the normal braces and they have to take out the teeth (two on the upper, one on the lower). But now i decided to have the
So got all my details on surgery the other day. Will be happening on April 4th and I am on a soft food diet for 6 weeks after which means no chewing, getting all my favorites in before hand. Anyways nothing new has happened as now I am not seeing the other until 2 weeks after I have my surgery. Will keep your guys posted.
I will have to post new pictures once I can get my computer to let me on as thats where all my camera stuff is loaded. Also all thats left after surgery is fine
