Take Two: My Second Go at a Straighter Smile
Between 1995 and 1998, I had a metal mouth - at that wonderful time of my life that society now dubs the "pre-teen" or "tween" years. After getting my braces off, faithfully wore my retainer - until it stopped fitting. Over a decade later, and my teeth have shifted to the point where I'm concerned of more shifting and the difficulty it takes to floss between certain teeth, due to crowding issues.
In walks an idea... an idea of Invisalign. I wasn't sure - the money? The effort? But I decided to take the plunge. I never thought I'd get braces again at 27, but Invisalign is definitely a different kind of braces. No more metal mouth. Removable (though not as easy as the commercials make it appear).
This is a documentation of my journey with Invisalign. I'm sure it will have its ups and downs, but all worth it in the end!
