We tested the product with several users and each user saw a dramatic difference in the whiteness of their teeth in just 10 days.  There was however some negative effects that a few users ran into.  The most common was teeth sensitivity to hot and cold water.  There was also some tingling type pain while wearing the strips.

Overall, for the price we will like the Crest Whitestrips for immediate results.  We have even seen young ladies wearing the strips in public right before an event to ensure her teeth is whiter later on.  If you are serious about getting permanent whitening results, than you will have to dish out the money.  The latest in whitening includes laser treatment, and even then it requires follow-up visits.
