Direct Method of Placing Braces On Teeth

In traditional orthodontics, most doctors use the direct method of placing the brackets or braces on the teeth one by one.  This allows for the orthodontist to place the brackets exactly where they see the movement is needed.

The indirect method of braces is primarily done in the lab with the impressions and molds taken of your teeth.  This is done very precisely with a technician and orthodontist.

With either method you can be sure that traditional metal braces still work just as good as they did several decades ago.
