Fake Braces Costume – How To Make Realistic Fake Braces

Braces can be fun when dressing up for Halloween, playing pranks on friends, or just goofing around.    As part of a braces costume you can make braces that look totally realistic or you may buy them from several companies that sell them.

To make fake braces you can use a large paper clip to use as the wire and bend it into a U shape.   This will act as the wire that traditionally fits around you teeth.  You can then use attached color beads to the wire to work as the bracket.  

When assembling the braces and wire to your teeth, you don’t want it to fit too tight as you don’t want any damage done to your teeth on accident.   You will not want to eat or drink with these in your mouth either, so it is recommended that you be very careful.   We do not recommend making your own braces if you can choose not to.   There are several products available on the market that are safer and ready to go.
