Talking just got my invisaligns

So I am 5 days now with my invisaligns. I have top and bottom trays. I was a little upset that I needed bottom trays but in the end it was going to cost me the same $$$ whether I have them or not.

OK all I can say is eating is a challenge the first 2-3 days. I think because of the buttons that are attached to your teeth and where your bite comes down you are sub-consciously afraid of biting the buttons. So instead you take chunks of your cheek out - OUCH!!

Also the skin behind my front teeth I think is swollen from the pressure of the top tray. Everytime I put the tray in it takes a few seconds for the pain to subside in that area.

It is getting easier though. The trays certainly do not bother me at all and to be honest since I have these buttons on my teeth I'd rather have the trays in than out because the buttons do feel wierd against your cheeks.

I am in for a year on the top and 62 weeks on the bottom. Its seems like a long time but it really is one year of my life (37 now) sooo if I live to 80 it will be worth it.
