I recommend the regular metal brace because it can do the best job, the fastest and at the cheapest. The extra money saved can go towards a new computer / college savings, fastfood, etc..
When I was growing up, my parents could not afford braces for me so I had to work and pay for it myself. Braces are VERY expensive for most people, so you are lucky to have caring parents to give the gift of braces!
