Great to hear from you kcombs100! Hope you enjoy your time on this forum.

I've got a question ... what's a class C? I'm an orthodontist assistant, and we refer to our classes by the standard use of I, II and III, with subsections in numbers also.

My bite was a mild class III, which was dental, so fortunately it can be corrected without surgery. Progress is slow, as I also had an impacted canine and other bite issues.

Teeth should always be moved slowly and with modern orthodontics, the archwires work so that the movementis slow and continuous, which is best for our teeth and gums.

Good luck with preparing for your jaw surgery. What type(s) of surgery are you having?
