Thanks for the clarification! That's much more in line with how I perceived it as working.
Actually, I'm out of braces now, and in bonded retainers. One of the things that I have noticed is that, be it my electronic brush or be it my manual toothbrush, it doesn't clean as well in the interproximal spaces between the teeth that are bonded. I'm thinking one of these gadgets might be quite the thing, since I am not at all fond of conventional toothpicks.
