Great you've made the appointment Anna!
Breathe deeply and slowly and hopefully you'll remain calm and you'll be happy with what needs to be done.
If you do need impressions and have a gag reflex, there's a variety of things you can do to help suppress this. First make sure your orthodontist is aware of how uncomfortable you feel and this should help with the way you are treated. Other things include sitting up while impressions are done, breathing through your nose, lifing your legs, listen to music or using your mind to go to a 'happy place'.
All the best for Monday!
