Samantha the most important role you can play in your treatment is making sure you follow all instructions given by your orthodontist. Also make sure your oral hygiene is A1. After that it's about your teeth and how they move.

Some people find their teeth move quickly and other's not so quick. Some people have problems that take longer to fix than others. There are many reasons why treatment still goes longer for some than others. For me it's a combination of my teeth moving quickly in the early months and now slowing down to a crawl, plus my orthodontic team having to change my treatment plan due to issues developing during treatment. The one thing I know for sure is, that one day soom my treatment will be over ... and so will yours. Until then, it's about getting on with life and never letting something as temporary as having braces affect that.

Good luck with your treatment being over soon!
