via my blog @ http://dswiz.blogspot.com/ I went to my 11th adjustment today and my ortho was happy about my gaps being closed! Now he is going to work on closing my open bite on the right side. He put a thicker wire on top (yay....) and made some kinks in my upper and lower wire to try and bring my teeth together. My upper teeth should come down a little and my lower teeth need to come up a little. I hope these wires work their magic fast! ...

Hi Damon brace on for a year (so hopefully only 6 months left). Can't say it is pleasant to have this brace on at my advanced (49!) age. Could someone tell me why my dentist want the gaps in between my teeth, I asked him last time but he didn't really give a reason but he said that he will fix the gaps in due course. The gap on the top right is really horrible.
So, my 2nd wire change came and went and to say I was not happy is an understatement. The ortho very kindly explained that I had had 2 round wires up till that point and now I was to have a rectangular one. Nooooooo!!! Of course, don't let me start telling the ortho his job.
