Not a lot to report for this week. No change in aligner normally means it is the same story as before. The aligner is not embedded well, no pain at all and it’s got to the easy part where I just wait for the next one. Can hardly notice it now. So much so that I had forgotten to put it back in after eating last night because I am used to not noticing if it is in or not.

I have noticed the gaps on the side of my teeth have closed up, but the front gap is still there, I will post pictures...

So I came back from a rather eventful adjustment.

What happened?

More bends one on top left lateral and bottom right lateral. (fun )

Elastics! Yay joy of all joys ! Ha! And I thought I could get away with no elastics, eh? Well at least it's only until next adjustment maybe.

And let's look at the positive:

My appointment is a few days earlier on 23 December.

And an even earlier debanding yes! February maybe?...

I went in today to fix a broken archwire on the top, and my orthodontist suprised me with elastics. So, instead of just replacing the top wire, I've got elastics from the back top to the bottom canines. I'm pretty lucky this time because you can't see them when I talk. He also filed down my front tooth that looked weird ever since it became straight.

I don't plan on telling my brother (who I live with) that I got them. I wonder how long before he'll notice.

Hi Blog, do you address these things?! Who knows, I guess it's like dear diary.

Anyways, I just had a phone call from my ortho who confirmed he hasn't forgottten about me and I WILL have my invisalign trays / aligners or whatever you want to call them fitted before Christmas, this has come as a surprise as I've yet to see the clincheck. I suppose I'll just have to trust him. Seems and age since I went forthe first consultation. Keep you posted........

Last Sunday morning I woke up to discover not only had my bite severely changed, but I also had 3 very large cuts inside my mouth. I've been rinsing with salt water and keep wax over the areas of my braces that caused/irritated the cuts. So far, they haven't healed at all. It's still incredibly painful to eat, brush my teeth, and talk. I really wish they would go away!! I hurt.
