On Monday January 29th I got new springs put in. My rubberbands had started irritating my lips so I havent wornn them in about a month and a half. The Ortho said I won't be getting my braces off in March as I thought. I really can't blame anyone but my myself. Not to mention these rubber bands are killing my mouth. I think this has been the worse pain ever. The pain is like a throbbing pain.

So got all my details on surgery the other day. Will be happening on April 4th and I am on a soft food diet for 6 weeks after which means no chewing, getting all my favorites in before hand. Anyways nothing new has happened as now I am not seeing the other until 2 weeks after I have my surgery. Will keep your guys posted. I will have to post new pictures once I can get my computer to let me on as thats where all my camera stuff is loaded. Also all thats left after surgery is fine ...

Since my first adjustment, I have not noticed that much change. Just slight gaps by 2 of my canines. As I'm reading getting more acquainted with the different types of braces, I am wishing I had gone with Damon. Grr.

So this is what it's going to feel like every time I change trays? I don't like it. Last night I put them in, immediately felt the tightness and took some advil before bed. Soo I've had funky teeth since as far back as I can remember...add coke bottle glasses and no sense of style and I didn't have a chance in jr. high. Just a quick update...I spoke with my orthodontist this morning. When I go in to get my bottom braces on 2/9 he will remove the top ones and replace them with the radiance brackets which are what I asked for in the first place. He said the removal of the brackets is a pretty unpleasant experience but he'll change them if that's what I want. I think I'll go through that so I don't have to go through the next year and a half wishing I had the other brackets. Is getting ceramic brackets taken off that ...
