Okay I had my ClinCheck appointment. This was basically where I went to see a computer generated version of my teeth now, and then show the movements of my teeth over time and how they would look when the treatment is completed.

I have to say I was absolutely delighted with how they’re going to look! I couldn’t believe that my teeth are going to look that straight, and more so was annoyed that I had left it this long to do anything about the one stick up I have about myself!! So when I got to the dentist I got a timeline of the work to be undertaken. I need my top aligner for eight months, and the bottom one for nine and a half which I was surprised to learn as I only really have one tooth out of line at the bottom.

I am also going for whitening treatment because my teeth are discoloured from years of drinking coffee and wine, and my adolescent smoking.

I am waiting now for an email from the dentist with the video of the change to my teeth, and once I have this I will upload here for you to see.

My next appointment is on the 26th September, where I will get the brace, and then be able to tell you all just what it is like!
