Thirty with Braces

I went in for my monthly check-up yesterday and everything seems to be going well. The bottom teeth continue to be in a holding pattern while we wait for those two rotated teeth to counter-rotate into a more pleasing position.

I got the chains adjusted yesterday by a new tech but don't feel any pressure at all. I hope there is enough pressure to make them continue spinning though

The ortho said I didn't have to change my bands this month but of course I asked for it to be done anyway. Last month I went for silver bands (on ceramic) and spent the whole month self-conscious about it. Now that I'm back to clear I can barely see them in the mirror (bad eyesight comes in handy cometimes!).

He said the end is in sight which has me a little...bummed? I love having braces and am entranced by all the little movements and nuances in there. Asides from that awful week right after the bottom braces went in everything has been so smooth and easy. In spite of the Rice Disasters and Flossing Expirements its been a great experience and I'm already kind of sad to see the end approaching.
