Thirty with Braces

I went in for my (lost count) adjustment today. Since I haven't posted here in a month (life has been hectic squared) let me do a little catching up first.

My tooth that was almost on its side is successfully vertical now! I forget what its called but instead of a regular rubber band the ortho wrapped arch wire around it to force faster movement last month. Well it worked and now I can't even pick out what tooth it was! For today's adjustment he used a regular band again.

Apparently two of my top left teeth (directly behind the canine) are rotated (???) so he put two buttons and chains behind the teeth going to my back molar band. That should be fun to clean I didn't even know those teeth were rotated, I really need to spend more time looking at teeth photos on-line instead of my teeth in the mirror

He keeps telling me my teeth look great but I don't feel or see real movement. I know stuff shifted though because my top and bottom teeth fit again. I feel bad for doubting him - it sounded impossible but he's made a believer out of me!

So much happened that I forgot to ask about grey rubber bands and am clear once again. It was a pretty exciting visit, I went in expecting a quick band swap and fifteen minute visit but was in there for over an hour!

Edit: I forgot to say he also rebracketted two of my canines. My ortho is awesome
