2nd day of 6 mnth braces....

Well I'm 36 and finally got my braces yesterday, after years of being to afraid of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I got my wisdom teeth (all 4) pulled out right before Christmas, yes what a present to myself huh?

Yesterday was finally the day. I was feeling fine and thought "This is not a big deal" until I tried to eat dinner last night.... Well needless to say, I couldn't. I have built up parts (not sure what they are called) on my two eye teeth, so I won't bit off my brackets, so I can't feel what I am chewing.

The aching is not bad today, it does seem like I am getting used to them. I actually ate mac n cheese today... woo hoo!

I will keep you all posted on my progress. I hear that lots of people are interested in the 6 month thing. I am so glad that I found this site...
