It almost took me 2 weeks to get used to my braces but you all were right - finally I check brushing, flossing, eating,... It still needs plenty of time but at least it works. Last week I was also back to work and was surprised about my collegues who were very supportive, 2 told me that they were themselves thinking about getting braces but so far didnt dare - maybe in a few weeks I will not be the only one wearing braces at my office! Thanks again to all your supportive comments - its a great page!

    Glad that people at work were being supportive. Yes, life with braces gets easier with practise and time!

    Great to read your upbeat post Brace!

    I've not met another adult with braces in my nearly three years of treatment. I guess this is another reason why most of the time I forget I've got braces. I mainly remember when I'm about to eat ... and that's okay.

    Great that flossing, brushing and eating are so much easier now.
