Funny how things change in the course of a few days . My teeth have completely adjusted, the lisp is nearly vanished (thanks to biting off the thingy behind my upper front tooth - just one though - one still remains) and the pain is barely noticeable - this is me smiling :0) . I'm so happy!

I am sure the pain will resurface, moderately when my wire is changed on March 3, 2009; subsequently, when I will also post my next report.

    That's wonderful that you have gotten used to the braces.

    It's amazing how quickly most people adjust to having braces ... and it's always reassuring to read posts like yours.

    I hope your post gives hope to anyone worrying that ortho treatment is a horror experience, as for most of us, it's pain free and very easy!

    Glad you are doing well!!! I am just over 3 weeks in now, and feeling good...my top teeth were hurting more than usual last night though--kind of strange, but reassuring that they are doing something! Keep us posted!!
