Ok, so I wasn't going to post anything today. Have been doing ok...I'm starving, and my lips hurt...wax has definately become my friend! After dinner, basically green beans and mashed potatos, and some VERY done chicken breast I was brushing and flossing my teeth and I saw it....I HAVE A SMALL GAP IN BETWEEN MY TWO FRONT TEETH! I had to pull up my before pics and ZOOM IN to see if I was really seeing a new gap....Yep, it's a change!!!

Fantastic about the gap ... but not so good about you being hungry. Please get back to eating like you usually do, as there's no need to be hungry. Also it's good to chew, good for the blood flow in your gums and there is some research to suggest it helps teeth to move. Make sure you have plenty of wax on when you chew, so that you can enjoy your food. Cut hard things into small pieces and enjoy gently chewing them.

It's good to have water with you at all times, as this helps to wash food away from our teeth and that improves the comfort level, especially in the early days when you're adjusting.

It's amazing you've had movement so soon ... that really is exciting!

Well that didn't take very long! It's amazing how fast teeth can start moving!

I agree with Sunny - try to push yourself a little with the eating. Do your teeth feel sore? or is your mouth irritated? I find cheek/tongue irritation to be more of a hindrance to eating that tooth soreness. (at least I do for now ...)

I've been carrying water with me everywhere, and it's been a lifesaver!
