13 months and wanting them off!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I have had my braces for 13 months and the ortho said I should have them on for 18 months and I have rubber bands. It is the second time I have had rubber bands. I wear them 24/7 and I do everything I am supposed to do. I have power chains on the top. I only have my rubber bands on the right side. I am really ready to get them off and my teeth look perfect. Can anyone tell me how much longer I might have them?????? Thanks!!

    Hi and good luck with your treatment!

    The only person who can tell you this information is your ortho. Something to remember is that once the exposed part of your teeth is in place, then it's time to make sure the roots are where they need to be. If the roots aren't in place, stability is hard work, even with wearing your retainer every night for the rest of your life.

    At your next adjustment, as what phase of treatment you're in and how much longer this is expected to last.
