Braces tomorrow!

The day has finally arrived :-)

So my extraction sites are healing fine, all four of them, and tomorrow I get top and bottom braces on. The ortho deals with Clarity or Radiance, and is recommending Radiance - which are clear ceramics. Am very nervous but so ready for this. Can't wait and terried all at the same time....

    Fantastic that your extraction sites are good!

    All the best with your appointment! Make sure you drink plenty of water and keep well hydrated. Use generous amounts of wax on any brackets that rub and rinse with warm salt water to soothe your mouth.

    I love that i have finally found someone on here that has had very similar treatment to what i will be getting very soon! I also have to have 4 teeth extracted and an embedded one removed above one of those 4. I am booked in for the op on the 5th of November and was only notified yesterday (24th Oct). I'm one of the lucky minute proportion of the adult population in the UK that is getting it done on the NHS - it mean i cant be picky about the date and i will be having full metal braces top and bottom Cant complain tho i know!

    I am 29 and have wanted this since i can remember! But im so scared! Would be great to read an update from you and especially get some advise. My ortho isnt very forth coming and i feel so intimidated when in the chair i totally forget what i want to ask and just agree and nod
