So yes, 6 months already, the wayward canine has now slotted in nicely. I am sure it has changed the way my face looks, or maybe its because my bite has changed? Either way a friend I havent seen since braces remarked that my face looked different.
I am not getting as much pain as I used to-I miss it! Mainly as I knew things were moving. I guess they still are I am just not such a wimp now!

I have thicker wires top and bottom, I have my 4th adjustment in 2 weeks, I hope for the thick ones again, they seem to get very good results.

All in all, things are good, I am hankering after biting into an apple or crunching into a carrot. Oh and the joy of not eating pizza with a knife and fork, cant wait!! Never thought I would have braces, let alone be sat here having had them for 6 months, only another 10-ish to go.

I have only had one bracket pop off, at a "wire snip" when the ortho was trimming a wire, and the ceramics seem to be holding up well and looking clean.

Its funny my Ortho has "told me off" for telling everyone where I got my braces, he now has a 9 month waiting list! The UK seem to be catching up with the US and Oz at last.
