6th adjustment- good news

Just returned from my 6th adjustment, wire changed in the lower arch and a few bends and twists to alter height issues.

Top set, new wire AND a clear power chain from the left back molar all the way around to the right pre-molar, you cant see it but it mean my mid line is being corrected and the gaps in my front teeth are being brought together.

Then NEWS! Ortho said, we are nearly done...EARLY! Brace is coming off in May or June. I cannot believe it, I am so pleased to be on the down hill slope.

Fingers crossed for you all that yours come off early and that your teeth move like the wind!

    I am positively green with envy! That's fantastic news. I have an appointment today for new wires and a new power chain (and tighter elastics, ugh!) - but I plan to ask how much time he thinks I have left. I'm 9 months into my treatment now and my teeth are moving fantastic so I'm hoping for sometime this summer! Major congrats to you!!

    Hi Denise! How did you get on? Did you get an estimated removal date.
    Power chain is working, holy moly its a bit sore to bite but I don't care now the end is nigh.
