So I've recently moved, as you can guess from the title, 2 hours away. I am exhausted as it's been an non-stop day and I'm just now getting the energy to tell everyone that yes I'm back from my "weekend away" I guess you could call it, though it full everyday, and about how my time was spent (Here's a hint, Black Friday though Cyber Monday + Christmas Shopping + My Family = headache). I'll only tell you about my ortho. appointment, though, as that's probably all you care about anyway. haha! Well, this appointment consisted of changing the bottom wire, fixing a loose bracket that I didn't even know was loose, and then changing the color of my bands (red and silver as a compromise to my family who, for some reason, are fascinated by my braces and wanted red and green for Christmas. Their fascination probably stems from the fact that I'm the first person in my immediate family to have braces).

The wire is supposed to really start to pull on my back teeth, to try and bring them back to standing position (they are still leaning though not quite as bad), and believe me I feel it. As for how I didn't know the bracket was loose, simply put, I didn't feel it even so much as wiggle. Not when I ate, not when I flossed, not when I rinsed, not even when I brushed. There just wasn't any detectable signs to me, it never seemed to move, it didn't feel loose, there was nothing. I thought everything was fine with them until the ortho. assistant told me it was loose after she removed the bracket. Oh well, it's fixed now and that's what matters.

The ortho. assistant then re-applied the chain across my front teeth, to try and encourage the gaps in between them to close. All in all, my mouth is not very happy right now, especially the tooth that got the bracket repaired. I've already rinsed with warm salt water and am now getting ready for bed.
