This is before braces and the latest taken just now, right after my 2nd adjustment. I got them on Jan 2nd, and today is April 20th

some more---

As you can see, much better than Jan---the straightening of the uppers is causing them still to jut out more than before...but that will be fixed with the use of bands...hopefully SOON! I hate my bite...I really like how my top teeth have straightened and my canines have come down. I smile so much more for photos now, even with the braces.
My appointment went well...I am in new wires, top and bottoms. I took Advil while I was there, and I am starting to feel a dull pain now. He said it will be a little tougher this round than last. My next appointment is June 15th, and he mentioned doing a little inciser refining...I asked the tech and she said he would shaving a little of my top teeth so they would be more in line. As you can see, they kind of slant and this I feel is due to me trying to file down my own teeth when I was 13 years old--LOL--lesson learned...don't try to be your own orthodontist!!!! I am kinda looking forward to that, the slant bothers me.
Anyway, that's it for now....hopefully the pain doesn't last long and I can go back to normal again!!

Candy, your teeth have made a lot of progress in four months! Your upper arch is rounding out nicely!

I need to have a little bit of filing done on my incisors as well, as they've worn down unevenly because of my bite being off and the lowers being so rotated before I started treatment.

Good luck with the new wires! My teeth were a little tender for a day or so after they were changed, but got back to normal pretty quickly.
