Well guys, my appointment is at 12:40 today...very excited to show him all the movement my teeth have made these last 7 1/2 weeks! My canines are down more and my fronth teeth no longer overlap, in fact they have a gap inbetween. My bite is a lot worse, but he told me to expect that. I can't wait to get my ligs changed..they are looking a little yuk,--really not sure about colors yet. Scared to get them and then hate them for weeks. I guess I got natural last time? Looked great for a month or so, then started looking more stained.
I guess I am in for a little discomfort later? I will take Advil before. I am just glad I have no ulcers right now, that would seem worse to have to deal with that too. My teeth are actually feeling good, as in not painful or sensitive--as they tend to do from time to time. I couldn't imagine having a lig pulled off on a tooth that is hurting...kinda makes me cringe!
Well, I will let you know after I get back, going back to work after...that's no fun..oh well! Life goes on!!! LOL---talk to ya'll SOON!

Okay!! I am back--just popped some Advil since I forgot to before I left. It went really well...getting the ligs off was a little uncomfortable..but the great news is...my front tooth GAP was gone by the time I got in my car to leave. I am amazed, there is a little band wrapped around those 2 brackets SO tight that the teeth are pulled back together and you can see no more gap---WILD!! I wish I could post a pic right now, but I am at work. Think I am in for some pain later!!! LOL...anyway, they changed my wires, still the same size, but I have my new fresh natural colored ligs on. They are amazed at the movement, they can't believe how the arch is changing!! No rubber bands yet, he said we will work on my bite around the summer time. My next visit is April 23rd, and the girl warned me--I will be getting a thicker wire and for me to be prepared!
Amazing what a new set of ligs do for yah--feel great---besides the intense throbbing that my gums are doing right now!
Oh, one more thing...they recommend me getting my teeth cleaned every 3 months instead of every 6 I guess I am a mouth breather at night (which makes sense because I still can't close my lips all the way) and that can cause the teeth the dry out...I guess the saliva protects them? She picked at my teeth, as she said I had some calcium deposits. I'm glad she told me that because when she starting picking, my feelings got hurt because I am a scrupulous brusher/flosser/rinser....but she said my teeth are super clean....not my fault kind of thing.
I did get to brush without my wire on though---YAY, felt great!!!
    Will posts pics soon!
