Well guys, my appointment is at 12:40 today...very excited to show him all the movement my teeth have made these last 7 1/2 weeks! My canines are down more and my fronth teeth no longer overlap, in fact they have a gap inbetween. My bite is a lot worse, but he told me to expect that. I can't wait to get my ligs changed..they are looking a little yuk,--really not sure about colors yet. Scared to get them and then hate them for weeks. I guess I got natural last time? Looked great for a month or so, ...
Ok, so week 6. I have a gap between my 2 front teeth, not huge..maybe like 1 mm? Which is crazy because one tooth overlapped in the beginning. I don't like this stage!!! I go for my adjustment next Thursday--YAY! this being my first, I really don't know what to expect. I know it's going to be uncomfortable, I really didn't think about this, but if my teeth are having a sensitive day, then the tech pulling off my ligs and replacing them-not gonna feel too good right? I was worried about the tightening ...
I am in a tad bit of pain this morning, I usually have that constant feeling of pressure that varies from tooth to tooth and day to day. Last week or so, it was my other front tooth that was super sensitive (the one that moved so quickly and lined up) and now it is the other one. My upper left side is feeling quite painful and tight...and this is new, just yesterday. My head hurts and I am wondering what is changing next!!!! My bite definitly seems more pronounced, not liking that too much but I ...
Well guys, here I am....28 days in....much better now at this point than I was at the beginning on January. There is definite movement in the front tooth. It has straightened up, but also now seems lower and makes my mouth seem crooked. I have a gap in my lowers that was not there before. I am having some sore spots in flossing, that were tighter (and some that are way looser) and I have trouble getting the ...
Before 1 month 2 weeks upper arch-note crooked front 4 weeks--not as crooked side ...
Wow...am I always going to be marking the time?...every day I look at my calendar and think to myself..."ok, this is such and such day" I am doing pretty good this week, the canker sore went away last week and that has been a big relief. I will take some pictures next week to mark my 1 month mark--Feb 5th. I am seeing changes, not so much pretty changes but just seeing the teeth move is pretty fantastic. Some of my bottom teeth have shifted, where there was absolutely no gap before, ...
Hi everyone.....I am so happy that the pain from the actual braces has subsided....9 days in. Still suffering with this awful canker sore though...still using the wax and have my orajel at all times. It's in the worst spot too, my upper canine teeth are higher (the part I hate MOST) and where they protrude with the bracket on is where the stupid ulcer is. Sometime it literally makes my eyes water. In the morning, I have to literally hang my head over the sink and let the drool run out as it hurts ...
Okay, I moved over here from Archwired, as there seems to be some problems! I had my braces put on this Monday (5 days) ago and wow...what a long week!!! I am 31 years old, work full time and have 3 kids and a very supportive husband! I have wanted, and thought about braces every single day for probably 20 years. I was always concious of my smile and never truly showed it, I can't wait to laugh BIG!!! I always feel it, just hard to show it! I finally took the plunge in Oct and had my eval done. ...
