18 months in--appointment today!

Hi everyone, went for my adjustment today...and great news...looks like I will be released 3 months early for good behavior!! LOL ((((DANCING))))
Todays visit was good, changed the wires, new power chains...back to bigger elastics in a large triangle shape on both canines to molars, just to hold in my bite...only have to wear them overnight though. He said next visit they will do xrays, and to expect them off the following visit. He said to schedule 4-6 weeks out, and so I asked the receptionist to put me at 4 weeks...rather than 6, so she did, and my next appt is Aug 9th : )
He grinded a little bit of my front uppers, and will continue tweeking until we're done. I will be having a gingivectomy done at a later time to even out my gum line, and make everything perfect (well, perfect to ME!)
It's awesome, can't wait...my hubby deploys next week and returns in November....I plan on giving him the biggest smackeroonie on the lips ever!!!! hahahah

    OMGoodness I know you are super excited about being paroled early, lol! I am happy to hear that you are and you are giving me some super hope that maybe I can be paroled early too. I can't wait to see the pictures and your teeth without them.

    That's AWESOME!! My next appointment is on August 3!! I am still desperately hoping for a debanding date of early October!! Only a four month deployment? Man you're lucky. Mine was gone for 17 months in a row. I just <3 the Army...lol

    Congrats! This goes to show that with great compliance in wearing elastics, treatment progresses as expected, and in some cases, even faster . Look forward to your pics.

    Thanks everyone, I am super excited..I haven't even let myself think about getting debanded...but now I can at least see the light : )

    yea...120 days....well 155 days on orders...leaves on Wed, and back at the end of November...we had many months apart when he was Navy and I was Air Force...but no kids then, but now he's an Air Force Reservist and getting activated...so our kids are going to have a hard time..not looking forward to Wed morning when we let him go...my oldest is just going to crumble..she's daddy's girl : (
    I definitly think me wearing my elastics as prescribed was HUGE! I wore them 24/7 when told to, and never missed a day...even when they were night time only...even on days where I would have super ulcers in my mouth...i wore those crazy things and pushed through it....and it's helped big time...he said my bite is close to perfect..esp for me being 33 and elastics did so much of the work...and that is AMAZING! EEK!
