Latest appointment--DEBANDING IN SIGHT!!!!

Hi everyone, I went my "who knows what" number appointment...maybe 13th? and they did my xrays--everything looks great, all the roots are lined up and straight...they took off my power chain, top and bottom, and just did regular ligs after he made a slight bend to both wires. I am returning in 3 weeks to check/fix for any gaps that may open up with losing the power chain (sniff, miss it already..they are achey right now) and then a week after that----these babies are coming OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so, 4 weeks--I am on the countdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are coming off at 20 months, my sentence was originally 24 months so I am a few months early...he says mostly to my rubber band compliance (wear those bands!!!)
I am having a hard time even imagining not having these braces on my teeth anymore....when I got them on Jan 5th, 2009...it felt like a life sentence..even though I knew time would go by....and it did...it flew by!!
I can't wait for my hub's deployment to end in Nov, see him walk of that plane, and (after my kids move off their daddy's legs) SMILE and give him a HUGE smackeroo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That's so awesome!!! Congrats!! I am also in a 24-month sentence, and I am hoping to have mine off early too!! I wear my elastics 24/7 so hopefully that helps. Can't wait to see pics of your beautiful new smile!

    Thanks so much guys!! I am very excited!
    I did try to put pics up but my computer at home was acting up. Is there anyway to upload from my memory card, versus a photobucket type website?
    oh, and the removal of my powerchain, ugh..causing me grief to no end...I have an ulcer right where my lower front brackets are and on the side where my canine is....I know they are going to shift a little from not being in that tight little noose, but it causes my mouth to go haywire...having these 2 sores, are totally making me count the days til they are off and I will gladly deal with one...without my brackets having to be covered in wax....
