I promise I'll make this short, as I'm a bit crabby today because my ortho was a crab, too, and I didn't get to ask him all the questions I'd hoped because he was giving me attitude.

My Class II elastics really over-corrected this past month, and my uppers and lowers were clashing like crazy. He put a kink in the upper wire by my left canine, and that seemed to relieve a lot of the pressure. I still have to wear a Class II on the right side, but I'm back to a triangle on the left. It feels so strange to wear 2 different configurations! And i got really brave with my color this month - MEDITERRANEAN BLUE! (At least, I think that's the color.)I just love it!!

Overcorrection is kind of annoying but at least it means the elastics are actually doing something. I've got some serious clashing on my right side (upper and lower canines sometimes ramming into each other when I eat- and oh mama it hurts like hell!!). I'm tempted to get a coloured powerchain at my next adjustment! You're so brave to do the bright blue, and your teeth look awesome. :3

Thank you, abbaker! OMG... My upper left canine is totally ramming into my lower teeth. It also feels like it's 3 times the size of the rest of my teeth, for some reason. It's especially painful at night when the elastics all-but-seal my jaw shut. Not to mention I have one side of my jaw being pulled in one direction (back), and the other side being pulled in another (down). But you are right - it means the elastics are doing something. Not sure if it's my imagination, but I'll be darned if that darn slant is finally going away!

I shall see how the blue chain goes over at work tomorrow. No one has seen it yet, since I got it on a holiday.
