well, i have had my braces for a little over a month now...the whole reason for my getting them is to attempt to pull an impacted canine out of the roof of my mouth. last monday, i had the surgery to expose the canine. it was awful!!! and all i could say was "i did this to me!" lol

but the pain has subsided substantially thanks to some ibuprofin!! i have my first adjustment in 2 weeks, im really interested in seeing how this all pans out!!

    Fantastic that you can have your impacted canine exposed! Here's to it going well!

    Good luck with your first adjustments ... great times, as this is when you learn about your progress and how what else needs to be done to help you get to the end!

    Ouch! I cannot imagine the pain but so glad you are past that now and good luck on the journey with the braces.
