Posted 07-14-2008 at 01:00 PM by cellardoor
Almost at the 3 month mark!! I'm so excited to share my improvements with you guys. Pictures will be posted in 2 days.

I would just like to say how much I enjoy this forum. All the members here are so friendly and helpful. I don't post often, but I enjoy reading everyone's stories. Even when I'm having a non-braces related bad day, I always leave this site feeling upbeat because there is such a positive energy here. So thanks to everyone for your support and kindness, and I hope...

Mini update

Posted 07-05-2008 at 11:00 AM by cellardoor
Almost 3 months into treatment. July 16 is the month-iversary. I'll post new pictures then. It's amazing how much my teeth have improved in so little time. My bottom teeth are nearly all straight. There is only one tooth that is slightly turned. The vertical gap I have between my top and bottom teeth (an open bite) is closing rapidly. This is the main reason I got braces. Lopsided improvements

Posted 05-28-2008 at 03:26 PM by cellardoor
It seems the teeth on the right side of my mouth are improving/moving faster than their left-side counterparts. This has created a lopsided effect, which makes it difficult for me to speak properly. At least I'm making improvements. Here's a picture I took a couple of days ago.

Loose bracket

Posted 05-14-2008 at 12:38 PM by cellardoor
Last Friday, the bracket on one of my top molars came loose. I'm not really sure how this happened. I don't eat any of the foods my otho told me not to eat. When I call them about it, they said that it can wait until my adjustment appointment on June 9th to fix it. That seems really odd to me. The bracket is still held on the tooth with the wire, so it's not going to fall off or anything. It just slides over my tooth whenever I eat or brush. I guess if it was really important then they would see...
