Well, I will have to get braces, so my dentist says. I am going to get another opinion from an ortho. I will keep everyone updated!

Don't worry. The braces aren't so bad, all they are is annoying. Your teeth don't look bad. 70 per cent of Americans can benefit from this process. Can't see the bottom teeth, though. Good luck at the consult! =)

ya they really are not a big deal... before you know it, your teeth will be in tip top shape and the braces will be off.
Look at it this way..you will have beautfiul teeth the rest of your life for only 2 years of treatment.. |

Why Me??? I'm guessing coz someone cares enough about you to help make this happen. Be grateful, there are many people in our world, who need to have their bite corrected to help them function, and yet they'll never have orthodontic treatment, as it's never going to be financially possible!
I've found that braces are only as big a deal, as you make them. With a positive attitude, where living is more important than focusing on something as temporary as braces ... this time will pass easily and quickly! Hope your next consultation is a good one! |

I agree with Sunny. One of my friends is a perfect example.
She has an overbite from either sucking her thumb or sucking on a pacifer when she was to old for that. Her mom can't afford them. |
