I got spacers in on Friday and tomorrow I have an appointment to get bands in. Kind of excited to have straight teeth, the only thing I'm a little nervous about is a surgery at the end.
I understand being nervous for the surgery, but think about how amazing your teeth will look! One thing I love doing is when I watch tv or movies, looking at the people on the screen and thinking, those beautiful teeth are what mine will look like too! It's going to be awesome
Congrats for the starting! I hope you can handle well your spacers, and you won't need to have them too long. I had mines for two weeks and hated them! I also would have to undergo a surgery, but I was to coward, so I won't have a "perfect smile", but as my ortho said the result will be much better than the actual one, but for that I will have to use additional appliances with my fixed braces. So I think you made a good decision, after the surgery you will have a life-long perfect smile!

Congrats!! Having braces isn't great but I am just always reminding myself how good my teeth will look at the end of it all. Remember to take lots of Advil when you first get them on
