ICE braces

Hey, shy. Welcome. This may not be the right place for this.
Ice braces look cool. They seem aesthetic. I don't have them though. I agree with Stephanie and Sunny

update update!

It's fantastic that your elastic wear is doing such a great job.

Talk to your ortho about your headaches, but there's a chance they're connected, especially since you're having a lot of tooth movement. There's many great medications available for headaches.

Good luck with the great progress continuing!

Great that you're happy with your Clincheck Weeevin. Having traditional bracket braces to obtain a 'better than' good result is often necessary after invisalign. Many patients do choose to settle for a 'less than' good result and sign a waiver to complete treatment without traditional bracket braces ... but you don't need to think about that decision for a while yet.

Shaving - IPR - is usually painfree, fast and a great way to make small amounts of space and it means that teeth don't need to be removed.

Here's to the time flying till your treatment begins!

Oops sorry about the small blip on the text of one of the pictures, I meant to say Note: that bottom tooth is still rotated and de-rotating very slowly.

ICE braces

Please don't get caught up with a brand of brackets Shy. It's more important to find a good orthodontist to treat you and then to treat you with the type of brackets they prefer.

Good luck with researching orthodontists!

ICE braces

Hi Shy. The blogging area is for those that are currently in treatment. You will get a better response out in the main forums...

Ice braces are widely used now and many orthodontist are using them over ceramic braces.

6th Adjustment

New wires can affect the brackets in many different ways, whether a larger size or not, so sounds like you're got some movement happening, which is great news!

My elastics have been to aid in the movement of my bite from class III to class I, plus to help close the gap over my impacted upper right canine ... massive jobs, but they are achieving both!

6th Adjustment

Wow elastics for 2yrs? well I'm sure it's done a great job so far! (Sunny)

Well guys since I posted this blog, my gum/teeth felt so sore! I couldn't chew properly and I'm not sure *I feel dumb that I didn't ask my ortho this* but I think my new wires are either thicker than the previous ones, although they don't look that any different to me or maybe it's because of this being my second wire change in 8½ months. I'm really feeling the pressure kicking in (which in fact is great news). Anyway I just took 2 tylenol extra strength & the pain went away I will post up the pics soon...

glad your appointment went well

A break from elastics sounds nice especially during thanksgiving, Christmas, and new years.
