ouchies

Last Sunday morning I woke up to discover not only had my bite severely changed, but I also had 3 very large cuts inside my mouth. I've been rinsing with salt water and keep wax over the areas of my braces that caused/irritated the cuts. So far, they haven't healed at all. It's still incredibly painful to eat, brush my teeth, and talk. I really wish they would go away!! I hurt.

Sorry to read that your mouth is sore Cellardoor. Keep using wax all the time, especially when eating and keep up the warm salt water rinses. Topical creams/gels with antiseptic and healing qualities may also help.

Great that you're noticing changes ... and here's to them not causing problems like this in the future.

Cellardoor a visit to your local pharmacy should reveal a choice of a few of these creams/gels. At work we recommend using one with antiseptic qualities as well as having a numbing affect, and it seems most brands do this.

Good luck with healing VERY soon!
