Adjustment! :D

Sorry it took me so long to write to my blog. But the appoinment went wonderfully. I got to watch everything in the mirror, it wasn't too painful ( I did have to eat soft foods for 2 days but its normal) and it was filled with great news! So I got my final wire. Thats it no new wire ever again! So basically my orthodontist started by looking at my teeth and the pan X-ray ( I took moments before ) and choose the brakets he wanted to try and move to a better spot. He only wanted to move 3 brakets. So the assitant took those brakets off got ride of the glue and then washed them off. My ortho then reglued them. Then my ortho spent a while bending my final wire or detailing wire. then I had to get one of those elastic chanes so I got to get a color. And I choose pink! The best part was they told me I'm doing great with wearing my rubber bamds at night. And at my next appoinment ( October 30th ) if everything looks good I'll get my braces off as soon as they can sceduale me in.Even if not they will make minor adjustments and I'll have the braces off by december.

Thanks Mariah, I was so thrilled about picking a color I couldn't even tell you! Hopefully at my next appoinment (October 30th)their happy with the results. & then maybe I can get my braces off before I go to this wedding in November.

Sounds like your whole appointment was a great one ... and fantastic you have powerchains and can finally have some colour! It must be so exciting to finally have an idea of when your treatment will be ending! Keep up the good elastic wear and here's to your teeth being naked for the wedding in November! |
