Started first trays today

Well, I'm about 7 hours into my first trays. I didn't get any attachments today, but when I go back in 6 weeks I am getting a lot of them from the looks of it. I found out I will need 22 trays on the top and 14 trays on the bottom so it's not nearly as bad as I had prepared myself. I also need to have elastics later on in my treatment to correct an alignment issue with my jaw.... yippee. Anyway, no lisp and no pain so far, just getting use to this new, strange feeling. I guess we'll see if my teeth hurt in the morning.

    good luck with your treatment.

    first day is always the toughest but it gets a lot better even after the attachments go on.

    Here's to you finding each day a little easier and it not being too long before you see changes.

    It's great that they now use elastics with invisalign, as that does allow for a few more things to be achieved!

    Just an update.... still no pain this morning. I can feel a little pressure on my front teeth when I take the trays in and out, but that's it. BTW, for those of you afraid of using denture cleaners on your aligners, my ortho GAVE me some in my starter kit. It obviously won't hurt them if the doctor advises all of this patients to use them.
