Feels like it's never going to end

Another orthodontist appointment today. Apparently he still wants to tweak my jaw a bit to align the bite properly. A few weeks ago I was told the only thing left to do was close up this one little gap and we'd be done. So they put two new power chains on top, and changed my elastics configuration a bit. My next appointment isn't for another four weeks, which puts me at over 23 months. I'm slightly annoyed as the whole time he's been telling me I'm running ahead of schedule and now this - I have no doubt it'll be right at 24 months when they come off. I guess at this point I am just SO TIRED of having braces. I didn't think it was possible to hate them more than I have the last two years, but right now I really really just want them gone!

    Oh, I feel for you as I know you are so ready to be done! Perhaps you can think of your removal date as part of your annual spring cleaning. You know; out with the old, in with the new... Keep yourself busy, and time will fly.

    Hang in there, they will be off soon! I know that regardless of where people are in their treatment they are ready to get the darn things off. Definitely keep yourself busy like Phantom said, it makes a world of a difference. Get naked soon!
