I am soooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the Final stages of my braces after 17 months :shock: My original sentence was 2.5 years so I am ahead of schedule and have 2-3 months left. He said he may do 1 more (maybe 2 more adjustments) which are 4 weeks apart now (not 6) and then they slowly take them off, molar bands first then a couple weeks later BRACES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means by mid August I will be free, not in time for the big family reunion July long weekend but less ...
Sorry its been so long since I posted pics. Things get kinda boring after 500 days I notice somethings opening up, some things closing but overall its getting there. My overbite was 10mm at the start and as you can see its almost not existent, a mm or 2. My right side seems to have opened up a bit again but left side just has a small black spot so thats good. I went in for my adjustment (15 months in almost). I thought my upper back molar band wire was bent (probably from eating popcorn and chips and yummy evil foods) It was and she said it didn't fit in the molar bracket/band anymore and since this is my finishing wire with a million complicated bends in it they took it out. So the tooth is FREE, OMG it feels so good. It didn't hurt at all just a cut and the molar band was off and now I can't stop licking it and feeling a really naked tooth. ...

Hi guys Well Its true braces get very boring. I had my 10th adjustment they said everything looked GOOD and I did a great job wearing my elastics to move my lower jaw forward/upper backwards so now after about 6 months of the same elastic configuration I am now in the holding position (upside down triangles) I can't believe my jaw is finally where it should be, I started with a 10mm overbite which is crazy and now its great with only elastics use and wire adjustments, no forsus ...

Hi everyone, been a long busy summer so I will post more in the next couple weeks when things get back to normal and post some new pics but had a quick question... I have been in my finishing wires for 13 weeks and 7 weeks. Braces on for almost 9 months, my original estimate was 28-30 months. There is a bit of an overbite still (maybe 2mm) and some gaps but most of my teeth are straight and inline but 2. I just don't see how it can take another 20 months unless things don't move. ...
Hi guys Just got back from the WORST (okay actually 2nd worst) vacation to my inlaws. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! When will I ever learn my lesson that spending more than 24 hours with them is a hazard to my health, mental and physical. There is no amount of booze, pain killers, medicines or deep breathing that will ever get me through a visit with them without losing it. Hi everyone So yesterday I got Elastics. To move my lower jaw inline with my upper jaw. I think its called midline. THE BEST NEWS.........I DON"T NEED the scary FORSUS springs. YEAH ME!!!!
