Well i have finally got my fixed ceramic braces. I still have my expander in the top for a few more months.
I can't believe how good the braces look, they are hardly noticable at all I so glad i decided to go for the radiance brackets.

Only alittle aching so far but then it is only day two... im alittle worried about the bands staining but fingers crossed they won't.

Flossing with my braces is quite interesting too hehe

Photos to be posted soon.

Thanks... nice to hear someone else has one! Ive not found many people that have it. I hate mine too, ive had my expander in for 2 and a half months so far, ortho said it will be in or another 2-5months... can't wait to get it out and get my fixed braces.

The only thing that bothers me about the expander is the fact that it effects the way i speak still

It has moved my teeth tho, ive noticed my front teeth have moved apart alittle.

yeah i saw urs was removable? or did i have arylic ( spelling)? mine does not so it is all open betwen the roof of my mouth and th epiece itself and everything i eat get caught up there and it drives me crazy and i been ocd-ing over brushing. Also i have to have surgery done since the plates are fused together and there needs to be are area to go and do it or i'd just be pushing the teeth out of the jaw bone itself which sounds painful and like A SAW movie trap for anyone who has seen those.

Yeah since I've been here your the only other I've seen with one but u can follow my blog that i'm doing. I have a feeling I will always have this lisp =[ well til it is removed

So yours doesn't come out at all? Is yours fixed to your teeth then? Im quite lucky i can take mine out, i just take mine out when i eat because it makes it so much easier and its only out for 10mins or so. Plus its less messy!!
Do you have any photos to put up?

Sounds like you have had to have alot done to your teeth before you have even got braces then I feel like ive been waiting ages to get my fixed braces but now i have my bottom ones on i feel more positive. Just cant wait to get expander out and have fixed ones on top.

I have my bottom bracket on they are metal I am trying to take pictures/ get a camera will be doing so soon as I am purchasing a new one I believe.

Yes my retainer is fixed, cemeted to my teeth and I will have in it a month before I do any offical turning. As much as I hate it in there if it was removable I dont think I would put it back in lol. Eating has gotton alot easier for me thoguh I just need water handy. Yeah my surgery date for activation is November 2nd, a small slice will be made in my palate and the device with be turn a few times and then i will have it til the palate reheals before i can get my ceramic tops. I forgot to ask how long that would be

Wow you've got alot of work to do then, It will go quick though. I'll be glad when i get my top ceramics on then i will really be able to see the movement

Ive got a few ulcers at the moment so im in alot of pain Hoping they go pretty quick! Ive not found it too difficult to keep the brackets clean, flossing is tricky but im sure it will get easier!
