...and the journey begins

I have completed day 1 with my new Invisalign alligners, and so far they're not causing me any problems at all. I had an incisor extracted yesterday as well to make room, and there is no pain associated with the site. Actually, the alligner masks the gap in my lower arch well.
I am aware that the alligners are in my mouth, they are tight but definitely not painful at all. My tongue and cheeks seem to be in good shape. I have noticed I have a slight lisp....hopefully that will fade in a few days.
I took them out to eat 2 meals today, and I was able to remove them in about 2 minutes. I'm not really used to the removal procedure yet, so I expect in a few days I will be much faster. If there is any discomfort at all, I would say it's during the removal.
Best of all, I went to a work related party a few hours after getting my alligners, and not one person noticed. I was trying to make my teeth visible to see if anyone would notice, but nobody did. It took my wife a really close inspection before she noticed anything.
So far so good..lets see what day 2 brings..![]()
