Hey everyone!

So, I'm just over four months in now, and i'm pretty happy with my progress. My top teeth are pretty much straight and my bottoms are getting there. My next adjustment is on monday and i'm looking forward to getting my wires changed so I can see more movement!

I had my first adjustment on the 9th, which was interesting. It seemed like my dentist was disappointed with my teeth, he didn't say anything positive at all. Well, he said I'm doing good with brushing but could be doing better, and then because I had three broken brackets, he told me I should have come in right away to get them fixed, and I might have my braces on for longer than anticipated. ...

Hey guys, so I think it's been almost two months now.
I've stopped looking at my teeth every day in the mirror, so I'm always nicely surprised when I do look in the mirror! My boyfriend says my teeth are pretty much straight already, but I definitely don't think I'm done just yet!! I can see a HUGE improvement, I just think my over bite is the biggest problem, I can't wait till it's fixed. I'm like really scared to have springs in my mouth though, and I can't remember if he said I'll wear ...

Hey everyone.
I hate my braces.
I'm so frustrated, my dentist can't fit me in so I still have one bracket hanging off a wire that hasn't been fixed from like a month ago, and now another one broke off today. So I called my dentist and they have like, one appointment this week and then one next week, those are the only ones they have, two appointments in total. And I work both of those days, so I guess I have no choice but to have brackets hanging off my teeth.

So, everything was going great until today at work, I bit down onto a mint on the right side and one of my brackets came right off.
My wires don't go right to the back of my teeth just yet so now I have a bracket hanging off a piece of wire, and there's like a stopper on the end of the wire so the bracket won't come off.
Can't say I was expecting something like this to happen so I don't really know what to do, so I guess I'll just leave it. There's nothing I can do as it's almost ...

Hey guys.
So now it's been a little over two weeks, it feels like so much longer. I'm kinda disappointed, I don't feel anything happening anymore. At least when I was hurting I knew that something was happening. I'm sure there's lots going on though.

On the other side of things, I'm way more confident already, I'm not so embarrassed to smile like I was before braces. Well I never smiled with my mouth open back then, and if I did then I was covering my mouth. Now it's like, ...

Hey everyone.
It's been one week since I got my braces on, they no longer hurt and I've started on the solid foods, woo hoo! Man did I ever miss food!
My boyfriend is fascinated by me having braces, he says "I know it's crazy and it's only been a week but I really think I can see some movement!" And when I compare at picture of my first day in braces and my 5th day in braces, I can see they're moved just a little bit. Isn't that crazy!?

So day two of braces..
AHHHHHHHHH, I am in soo much pain I didn't think it was possible. I could hardly sleep last night, I woke up early this morning and had to take some Tylenol just so I could go back to sleep, and it's now two hours later and my mouth still hurts. So Tylenol isn't working and Ibuprofen isn't working! Can't wait to work my 9 hour shift later today..
Every tooth in my mouth hurts and my cheeks are torn apart, I guess I just need ...

So today I got my braces put on, it was a long process, it felt like it would never end.
My mouth felt okay at first and now i'm really uncomfortable, I feel like I have some huge pieces of metal sticking right out of my mouth, and they're already cutting the insides of my cheeks.
I like how the top six are clear, I can hardly see them, they're amazing =O I didn't think they would be that clear, but I love them.
So anyways, my teeth already feel like they're moving, whenever ...

July 1st.


I just got fitted with these spacers yesterday, they commented on how tight my teeth are and it might be 'a little painful'.
I've hardly eaten since yesterday, I have to take Ibruprofen every few hours, and i'm in so much pain.
All of my teeth on the top row are tender, can't wait to get these out of my teeth.

Oh and I get my braces on the 8th, one week today.
