I've managed to set my laptop up with the system my uni uses - which for somebody as clueless as me is quite an achievement! I'm in courts of residence, which in my case means sharing a kitchen with thirteen other people. However, I can safely say I am not the only one with braces! I haven't seen everybody, as some seem to want to keep themselves to themselves, but there is a guy with braces so I don't feel quite as weird.

I haven't told any of them I've had jaw surgery. I don't want to appear to be showing off, or making things up because none of them know me and may think it sounds a bit far-fetched. Perhaps when I get round to adding them on Facebook they'll wonder why I look so different in some of the photos.

So for now I need to keep brushing, remember to wear the bands, and try not to spend too much time in my room and get out and make friends!

It's Fresher's Week at the moment, but I've still got lots going on. I've got a maths test on Thursday morning, to make sure I know enough to do a degree... But what I'm wondering is:

If Hannah must wear 3 elastic bands every night, until 29th December, how many does she need allowing for loss or breakages?
