I'm back!!!!! And now for the bad news...

Just literally got back from a week on holiday with my friends. I was very good, no fruit juices or too much alcoholOf course I was bearing in mind my surgery (which had been moved to 4th of August due to a cancer case) and how I need to be healthy for it.
Well, guess what my mum told me. The hospital phoned again recently, and as I wasn't around my mum said she could pass on a message (which surprisingly they let her) which turns out not to be a nice message.
My operation is being moved. Again
It's another cancer case and of course I don't want to stand in the way of people saving lives. They normally push a surgery back two weeks at a time, but my surgeon is going on holiday himself in August. This means my new suggested surgery date is 1st September.
The thing is - will that be ok? I'm meant to be going to university in September, my course starts on the 26th!!!! Surely I will still be in recovery? The only alternative is to push it to next year, after the first-year exams are over. That means I will befor uni for longer than I thought but I don't want to go tearing off to uni 3 weeks after an op!
Anyone else experienced anything vaguely like this?
I was just starting to get used to the idea of it being changed, and now it's moved again...
