I don't think I've owned two tubes of the same toothpaste in the past 10 years. Every time I buy a new tube of crest, it's a new formula or new package than the last time. This time, it's "Pro health". I just call it a pointless exercise in marketing. After all, how many people switch brands of toothpaste in the course of their lives? I'd be willing to wager not many. Of course, this crowd isn't exactly the norm either, with many people opting for sensodyne or something supercool I haven't even heard of. How advanced can my toothpaste get? I can see it now: NEW! Crest with nanorobot scrubbers that whiten your teeth while you sleep.

Meh. I don't have a cavity and no matter how much money they throw into Crest's research budget, that isn't gonna change.

Yeah, it seems like marketing. I use whatever my parents buy, I have never had a cavity, and knock on wood, never will Haha well I would be shocked if the nanorobot scrubbers becomes a new marketing scheme :P

I've always had a favourite brand of toothpaste, but have changed the 'type' within that brand regularly.

Since getting braces, I've had a few sensitivity issues and my ortho recommended using sensodyne toothpaste, and it's been brilliant for me.

The lastest move with toothpastes over this way, is to go organic. There are some amazing new brands and types being marketed well. I bought a great tea tree flavour while I was away. Plus my teeth feel clean, which is good!
