I'm sure this is kinda normal, but I've noticed the tooth next to my middle teeth on the left getting pretty loose!
So I'm a little worried. I've read about it online, but was wondering how loose is acceptable? I can see it move when I push on it! I need to stop touching it I think, but its hard, especially if I'm bored at work or something. I think I'll call my ortho tomorrow just to make sure that everything is going okay. Also I'm already almost out of wax! perhaps I'm using to much, lol, Because I'm not even a week in and that was supposed to last me 6 weeks. Looks like I'll have to ask the ortho for more of that too, or maybe just pick some up from wal mart.
The pain has decreased significantly and I'm sort of getting used to having them on. But still can't wait til I see some improvement!

Very normal. The teeth get loose as they make movement.

Glad to hear the pain has gone away... The worse is always in the beginning, and then for the most part it is smooth sailing...

oh yeah, your teeth will go through varying stages of loose, it's normal

I also blew right through my first pack of wax. You'll get better at using less etc. the longer you use it.

It's fantastic that your teeth are loose, as they have to be loose to move! Please train yourself not to push them, as you may be moving them the wrong way and against the archwire. Good luck with that one!

There is no such thing as using too much wax. You're best to always have a spare container. As you progress, you'll probably not need it as often, but be prepared for possible rubbing when teeth move and/or the archwire pokes out.

    Good luck with your progress!
