Post progress here.
So, it has been a while since I've posted in my blog, but there have been a lot of changes happening. I've had a few apts that helped my teeth a little, but up until the most recent visit, nothing drastic. The most recent visit my ortho put a new rubber band thing that goes over half of my teeth, where the one tooth is still crooked, and now all of the sudden I have a slight gap (which happened over night). My orhto said that this was a good thing, so I'm not too worried, I just hope that I will ...
So, I haven't posted in a while, because sadly there hasn't been a lot of movement.. well maybe there is, but they still aren't anywhere near to being perfectly straight . Its alright though. Soon, I'm hoping to make some progress because I have spacers in my bottoms and I think they will be putting buttons or something like that on my teeth to finish pulling my cross-bite completely out... FINALLY! I will be going into my appointment to have the buttons and rubber bands put in on Friday, and ...
Hello All I missed a month. Mostly because I didn't feel like I made much progress at all during my third month at all . My cross-bite movement seemed to come to a stop. I'm on month four now of my braces, so... a third of the way done with my treatment. If everything goes as planned. I got my braces adjusted today, and FINALLY they put a thicker wire on. SO I finally feel a little pain again! YAY! weird I'm excited about the pain, but I know when I feel pain its WORKING! I attached ...
So, I'm on month two now, and barely notice that I have braces most of the time. Except the flossing part, but I've cut the time down considerably, so it only takes a few extra moments compared to before I had braces. I can't wait til I see the finished result!! I already notice a huge difference in my bite, and when looking at the comparison pics, I can for sure see some movement. Of course I'd love for them to move quicker, but evidently if they move too quickly it ruins the roots of your teeth, ...
So, I'm seeing a little progress with the teeth, but I still can't wait til they're off! I go in for my first adjustment in about a week. I barely notice that I have them on anymore, which is great. Brushing still is kind of a pain though, since I'm paranoid about getting cavities, I have to brush like 4 or more times a day. I no longer have to use wax. Anyways, nothing else new to add that I can think of. Hope you all have a great day!
